Reason why Cupidtrails Choose DTG Printing Method.
In Cupidtrails (https://www.cupidtrails.com/) we give you best customized t-shirts. To customize your designs in best possible way, we use DTG printing method. We want to introduce you to several other techniques and let you decide why DTG printing is the best out of them. Basically we have many ways of printing available in the market. Among which there are-
1. DTG Printing
Direct-to-garment (DTG) as the name suggest the inks are directly injected to the garment. It involves the process of printing using specialized aqueous ink jet technology. Every printing techniques carry a special machine and for this we have DTG printer. The machine have a platen designed to hold the garment in a fixed position, and the printer inks are jetted or sprayed onto the textile by the print head. The reason we choose this technique is because we can put numerous colour with according to our design. The ink is directly injected to fabric thus it is more durable.
2. Dye Sublimation
This works similarly to a printer that we usually use. This technique allow the heat transfer to apply an image to the intended substrate. The printers involves a heat press to a sheet of transfer paper that has been printed with special solidified inks Once heated, these solidified ink become vaporized into a gas. This technique is also directly injected into fabric and let the fabric breathable. This technique is not cheap and only allow certain type of fabrics in it.
3. Vinyl Cutting
Vinyl Cutting, done by a very specialized machine used for it the Vinyl Cutter. It is a computer Controlled machine. The control of this machine is specifically handled by the computer which makes sure that the sharp blades of the Vinyl cutter machine move properly. This can be not that good for printing alphabets. it can only cut out shapes or letters on strong colored Vinyl. If you were to design a project of many colors then it is also a tough job.
4. Screen Printing
A contemporary method which we usually see. It is an effective technique for creating bold canvases, posters and artwork, but the method can also be used to print fabrics and textiles, so it's great for creating all sorts of custom clothing and products. It is compatible with most fabrics when you use the right mix of inks and screens for the fabric you will be working on. However The space you need should be dust-free and dark in order to help preserve screens and ink. In short it is stenciling technique used to apply ink to a surface through a mesh surface.
5. Heat Transfer Printing
This is very similar to sandwich making technique. The ways sandwiches are made merging between two heat pans. Heat transfer printing is a newer decoration method, with heat transfer, also known as digital transfer, your custom logo or design is printed onto transfer paper and then ink is thermally transferred from the paper to your fabric using heat and pressure.
